Prescott Meals on Wheels Round-Up Program

Join us July 20-Aug 1, 2020 at Olsen’s Prescott store as we “Round-Up” the register on purchases in support of Prescott Meals on Wheels. Each time you make a purchase at the store let our team know to “Round-Up” your purchase and donate the difference to the Prescott Area Meals on Wheels.

Did you know that part of the Prescott Meals on Wheels program includes the AniMeals program? The Animeals program consists of donated cat and dog food for homebound clients. If an individual can not get the store to by themselves food, they can not do for the loved family pets. Only in-kind donations of food are accepted to support this program.

About Prescott Meals on Wheels

Prescott Meals On Wheels provides services that enable older people to maintain independent living with safety and dignity.

The service agency’s mission is to provide one hot nourishing meal per day, both in a congregate setting and to homebound clients. Patrons are served cafeteria-style by volunteer staff from 11:15 am to 12:45 pm Monday through Friday. Volunteers use their vehicles to deliver homebound meals. This program also supplies meals to participant’s pets! Many times participants will choose to feed their meal to their pets. All proceeds from your round-up will also go towards donations of pet food in addition to meals, for Meals on Wheels participants who won pets.

Prescott Meals on Wheels also has a further mission of responding to the needs and concerns of clients as perceived by those who deliver meals and others in the organization who have contact with the group’s clients.
