One phytase unit liberates one micromole of inorganic phosphorus per minute from sodium phytate at pH 5.5 and 98.6ºF. Contains a source of phytase, Ronozyme HiPhos GT, which can hydrolyze phytate increasing the digestibility of phosphorus in diets containing phytin-bound phosphorus.
Feed to all classes of poultry including chicks, broilers, pullets and laying hens. It may also be fed to mature and growing water fowl, and mature turkeys and game birds. Oyster shell should be offered to pullets two to three weeks prior to the start of laying and be available to all laying birds at all times.
