The 2019 Arizona Equifest Schedule is here! The Olsen’s Equifest promises a full weekend of barrel racing and roping, vendor booths, entertainment, clinics, and demos. Also, all activities are FREE and to be enjoyed by the entire family thanks to the contributions of our generous sponsors.

Equifest Activities

This year Equifest is kicking off the entertainment with Olsen’s Family Feud starting at 9:30 am. Watch the excitement as employees from each Olsen’s location will face off in a horseback competition that includes a trailer race, ribbon race, and egg in the spoon race. Come cheer on your local store employees! Also, there will be performances by PRCA Equine Trick Rider, Brandi Phillips, the Granite Mountain Drill Team, and local police K-9s.

Moreover, there will be educational demos on colt training, equine chiropractic’s, and horseshoeing. While you are there, check out the Heritage Park Zoo, dutch oven cooking, Arizona State Farriers Association horseshoeing contest, test drive a tractor, and the antique tractor display and pull! Don’t miss out on The Legacy Ranch Horse Sale preview. This event will be kicking off at 12:45 with team roping, branding, and dry work. Moreover, enjoy an evening concert by Gail Steiger, a cowboy, and songwriter starting at 4 pm.

Olsen’s Equifest Saddle Series & Open 4D Barrel Race is an annual pole and barrel racing series, which showcases the best equine athletes and riders in Northern Arizona. The series finals will start at 5:00 pm. Furthermore, the Olsen’s Equifest team roping jackpot will take place on Sunday, September 15^th and showcase the best and fastest team ropers on Northern Arizona.  Also, all 2019 Arizona Equifest Schedule events take place at the Prescott Rodeo Grounds.
