The 2016 Arizona Equifest Event Schedule promises a full weekend of equine barrel racing and roping but also over 50 vendor booths, Tack Swap, entertainment, clinics and demos—- all FREE and to be enjoyed by the entire family. Below is the schedule of activities for Equifest events kicking off on Friday evening, September 16th, continuing all day Saturday and concluding with the Team Roping Jackpot on Sunday, September 18th. All events take place at the Prescott Rodeo Grounds unless otherwise noted:
FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 16th
Buster McLaury Horsemanship Clinic*
- Horsemanship One: 9 am to 12 pm
- Horsemanship Two: 1 pm to 4 pm
* There are still a few limited spaces available for the clinics; please visit any Olsen’s location for clinic pricing or registration for auditing.
Tack Swap Check In – 3 to 7 pm
Evening Events – Hours: 5:30 pm until 8 pm

SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 17th – Hours: 8:30 am to 9 pm
- Over 50 Vendor Booths – Product Ideas, Information and Shopping!
- Tack Swap – Buy quality used tack at the largest tack swap in Northern Arizona
- Cash only accepted; ATM available on site
- Entertainment, Clinics and Demos – Including Police Dog demo, barrel race, horse training techniques and sheep herding demo
- Kids’ Activities
- Build a Stick Horse – 9 am to Noon
- Stick Horse Races – 12:30 pm
