Gene Ovnicek is nationally and internationally recognized as a farrier, clinician and researcher.  A pioneer in the study of wild horse hoof form and function, Gene has combined his over 50 years of farrier experience with information from other scientific research as a foundation for treating and preventing equine lameness.

Dr. Rick Brady, PhD, DVM, owns Tumbleweed Veterinary Hospital in Cottonwood and is a member of the board of directors for the Arizona Veterinary Medical Association. In his free time, he loves caring for his horses and trail riding.

Carol Fontana & TikiTiki’s Grand Adventure with Carol Fontana

Fascinating tales and lessons learned from Tiki and Carol Fontana, the first solo horse and rider to complete the 800-mile Arizona Trail.  Tiki will be tacked up as he was on the Trail.  Carol will be happy to answer questions.  Olsen’s was a proud sponsor of the adventure which raised funds and awareness for Prescott Area Shelter Services.

Molly Wisecarver Double MSheep Herding Demo with Molly Wisecarver of Double M Stock Dogs

Molly Wisecarver has been a herder since 1989, when she was bitten by the “herding” bug as competitive barrel racer.  Now a world class herding competitor and trainer, Molly owns Double M Stock Dogs, a breeding, boarding and training facility.

Jeri Farber

Dog Obedience & Agility with Jeri Holton of Farbenholt Kennels

Jeri Holton of Farbenholt Kennels & Dog Training has successfully trained and titled dogs in AKC obedience shows, Schutzhund trials (German dog sport), and stock dog herding events. With Farbenholt partner, Ray Farben, they have a combined experience of nearly 60 years in dog training, Jeri began her career  in 1981 and Ray became a certified dog trainer in 1988.
