Purina Game Bird Layer (formerly Gamebird Breeder Layena) is a complete ration designed to help promote fertility, embryo development, egg production and chick vigor in pheasants, quail, ducks, geese, chukars, guinea hens and other exotic game birds. Purina Game Bird Layer contains a blend of vitamins and minerals to support strong egg shell production. This diet should only be fed to birds that are laying eggs. Begin feeding 2 to 4 weeks before the onset of egg production. Continue to feed during the production season. When the females stop laying eggs, switch those hens to Purina Game Bird Maintenance Chow until egg production begins again.

Directions

Feed free-choice as a sole ration to birds from one month prior to egg production until production ceases, or until you wish to stop production. Caution Store in a dry, well-ventilated area free from rodents and insects. DO NOT use moldy or insect-infested feed. Important Clean, fresh water should be available to the birds at all times. A feeding program is only as effective as the management practices followed.
