Santa Paws is dropping in at Olsen’s Prescott store for pet photos with your furbabies on Saturday, November 28th from 10am ’til 2pm. Bring your precious pets in for photos and help a great cause too! Photo packages are available starting at $15 and up— we’re sharing $5 of every transaction with United Animal Friends.
United Animal Friends (UAF) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit group founded in 2003 by a group of avid animal lovers. Since the beginning, UAF has continued to grow in size and strength, while continuing to maintain the founding principles of rescue, volunteerism and compassion.
United Animal Friends’ primary mission is to provide rescue programs and services to animals and those who care for them. UAF’s primary goals are:
- Saving the lives of adoptable dogs and cats.
- Finding the best home for each animal in UAF’s care.
- Reducing pet overpopulation through spay/neuter programs.
- Feeding hungry animals through the UAF Community Pet Food Bank.
- Relieving suffering and facilitating the compassionate treatment of animals.
UAF is an all-volunteer organization whose programs and services depend on private donations, foundation and government grants as well as fundraising events. Since 2003, United Animal Friends has found loving homes for more than 4,000 homeless animals and spayed or neutered over 10,000. UAF’s Community Pet Food Bank helps feed more than 700 hungry animals each month. In addition, UAF provides support for low-income families to enable them to keep pets through low cost vet services and food donations.
